Not when a suitor, with boast ofhia gold. At the maiden's feet lays hia -wealth untold. And for money her heart -would barter ; Though tbe base and the worldly urge her to wed, liet her laugh and acorn to the words that are said, And decline to be made a martyr. Not when a title is laid at her feet— Though rant and station to women are sweet— If 'Us only an erupty glory ; UniPSB there is worth with a coronet, Xiet her bide her time, and her true love yet Will toll her the " old, sweet story."
