Sofia, Oct. 21. An interview has taken place between Stambouloff, President of the Council of Regency, and Cad ban Effendi, the Turkish Envoy, at which it was decided not to postpone the meetings of the Sobianje. Stambouloff warned Cadban Effendi that the days of the Ottoman Empire would be numbered if lius&ia were permitted to enter Bulgaria. It is expected that Sir Frederick Roberts will succeed General MacPherson in the command of the British expedition inßurmnh. The Bank of England to-day raised the rate of discount to 4 per cent.
WAKARINGA GOLDFIELD. Adelaide, Friday. The mining Warden at Tutupla telegraph that a 1000 men are op the field at Wakaringa. lie asserts that only ono gully is giving gold in payable quantities, and any groat rush is quite unjustified.
