The Arrest of Perm. Wellington, October 7.
The police authorities have received a, cablegram from Queensland, stating that a man has been arrested who is supposed to be Perm, the accomplice of Caffrey in the Great Barrier murder. , Inquiries are asked by the Queensland police whether Perm has a acar over the eyes, and it is understood that he had a mark over the left eye. No mention is made of the girl Graham, who accompanied him in the. Sovereign of the Seas. The man arrested by the police in Brisbane Has a mark under his eye, and ia believed to have been connected with a certain veßßel.of which the name is given "Shah of Pereia." The Chief Commissioner has wired here to have a description t supplied. Sufficient information has not been obtained yet to make it certain whether it is Perm or not.
