Today, Mrs EUison, the nurse, was iurther examined, but her evidence only i ef erred to the bottles given by her to Dr» Mclrityre at his request. Mr Joynt did not cross-examine, Mr Hay cross-examined concerning the piaqing.of fc!v icewater in too bedroom, but did not elicit anything now, and the evi-. denne given was not shaken. Witness denied that Mr Hall asked Miss Houston to twie theicewater because it was Dast;y. Dr. Maclntyre, recalled, gave evidence th.at; Mrs Hall wbr not strong enough to, attend the 1 Court for at least ten days or a fortnight. < ; , Mr Whit© asked for a remand, wblcli the Conrfc granted till Saturday, .next, with, the underefrindinja: that ther,e would , be n further adjournment till the following Monday or Tuesday. ' •' • ' TJie hearing 1 of the charge of foi'gery against Hall will bo taken on Wednesday and -Thursday next. Five -informations have been laid, and more are expected.
