Firth and Clarkes. — 250z 15dwts, retorted. To the above must be added the 41oz, result of the former trial crushing at both batteries, and 2270z from 205 trucks general dirt ; making a total For the New Find for tbe month of 3310zj 14dwts retorted gold. Colonist : 31oz 16dwts from 40 trucks. Galena : J Goz from 16 trucks. Young Caledonian : (Munro and paitjj crushed on halves, lov from six trucks. <3riand total for the month ending August 18th 3Sooz lOdwts, retorted gold. Firth and Clarkes battery is now working as follows : 20 head ol" stampers New Find ; 10 Gordon (late Pluxinix, Mnicey and party owners) ; 5 Galena ; 5 Colonist. Tailings Plant : lfi berdans New FinJ, balance battery company.
