Thk London "Daily Newß " of this morning emphatically declares that it is the duty of Sir Michael Hicks-Beach to aid in repressing the "bloodthirsty violence "of his colleagues, notably Lord Randolph Churchill, who " deliberately," and "with malice aforethought," encouraged the aggressive attitude of the Irish constabulary during the disturbances in Belfast.

Michael Davitt Speaks. London, August 11. During an interview with Mr Michael Davitt yesterday in New York, ho declared that the riots in Belfast were wholly due to the impetuosity of the Orangemen, who, by their riotous conduct, had proved the absurdity of the Unionist boast that they represented the orderly and law-abiding claases. Mr Michael Davitt, addressing twenty thousand persons at Chicago, eaid that he had abandoned the policy of revengeagainst England.
