July 19. —In the divorce suit, Crawford v. Crawford and Dilke, the evidence of experts shows thatthe handwriting of the several anonymous letters received by Mr Crawford was similar to that of the respondent, Mrs Crawford. Mrs Kogerson testified to having received a confession of adultery from Sir Charles Dilke. London, July 20. In the Crawford-Dilke divorce case, Mrs Crawford testified that she was seduced by Sir Charles Dilke, and detailed her adulteries with the co-respondeat and Captain Forester. A Press Association message save : - " Sir Charles Dilke has admitted * that there were indiscretions in his conduct Rome eleven years ago, but he denies every accusation of familiarity with Mrs Crawford. His mother and servants give detailed accounts of his everyday movements. The woman Fanny, whose nfune was brought up at the trial in tho Divorce Court, is still absent from London." London, July lS.—ln the divorce suit, Crawford v. Crawford and Dilke, evidence has been given by the servants in favour of the co-respondent, but the latter has made certain damaging admissions. In the cricket match at Lord'a the All England Eleven were all disposed of for 353. The match resulted in a victory for the home team, by one innings and 104 runs. The Queens prize at Wimbledon was won by Jackson, a Lincolnshire Volunteer. In the sculling match today, Perkins v. Kemp, of Sydney, for £200, 'Perkins *on easily. London, July 20.- It is aunounoed that Lord Hartington has declined to join Lord | Salisbury in the formation of a coalition ministry. He at the same time intimated that he would accord support to a Conservative administration. }Mv Gladstone, in closing an angry correspondence which has takon place between himself and the Duke of Westminster, threatens the abolition of the aristocracy unless their acts are governed with more wisdom than hitherto. • • London, July 16.— Maxwell, who is under sentence of death for the Preller murder at Sfc. Louis, has been respited until October. Sir Graham Berry is, pressing for . the evacuation of the New Hebrides by France. It is reported that the English and American Governments are arranging to extradite dynamiters and Socialists. London, July 19:— The treaty for the extradition of dynamitards is causing much excitement among the American Irish. Canada and England are fortifying Esqui mnult. The total tenders for the New South Wales five-and-a-half million loan amounted to seventeen and a-half millions. Tenderers at £95 7s 6d will receive 38 per cent. Pirates are besieging Thaimos, situated in Chinese waters. Paris, July 18.- A duel has been fought between General Boulanger, Minister of War, and M.' Larientz, Member of the Senate. Both were, unhurt. M. Larientz fired, but mis?ed, while General Boulanger fired in the air. .
