In accordance with the Public Works Eetioiates presented to Parliament, the Government have already called for tenders for the Manawatu Gorge formation contract of the Napier-Palinerston railway ; for the Waiwaki contract (formation and permanent way) of the Wellington-Woodville railway ; and for the Tekuiti contract (formation and permanent way) of the North Islaad Main Trunk Railway.
