Another very sharp shock of earthquake has just occurred here, adding to the general consternation. The clouds of smoke and ashes have cleared off somewhat; but it is a period of terrible suspense and anxiety for us. The Mayor is despatching allthe available coaches and other vehicles along the Kotorua Eoad to the assistance of the escape's from the Lake townships.
