/ k .-: cncket match between the Turau a!!- Prteroa Cricket Clubs, which came off n Frasers' paddock on Saturday list, resulted in an easy win for Turua representatives. Mr J. M. Wilkinson having settled the ftgatihako difficulty by altering the line for the Thames- Te A rob a Railway 80 as to avoid the " Taptt land," the woik of surveying has again been resumed, and no further trouble is now anticipated. After liquidating all expenses in connection with the late race meeting, the Oliiuemuri Jockey Club have a balance of £25 on hand, and it is proposed to get up another race meeting For E.iatci Montiuy next.
