Tin: Hox. Jons Brvce leaves for Now Zealand by tho steamer Tainui on Thursday noxi. Mr Iiusden has offorod him £1,000 as indemnity for his trouble, expense, and coats of action up to date.
Execution Stayed.— Probable New Trial London, March 23. Permission has been given by the Court to stay execution of the verdict for plaintiff in the libel cage Bryce v. Rusden pending tho result of the application of defendant for anew trial. The judges stated, however, that any new trial will be stiictly limited to the question whether the damagos awtu-d.de aso excessive or not.
