Tendjrs were opened to day fortlic loan of one million live hundred thousand pounds placed upon the market by the Queensland Government the total amount was applied for. The representatives of German interests in Soiuoa intend shortly to inteiview Sir Dillon J Sol 1 respecting the purchase of such interests.
RAILWAY ACCIDENT. A RflriouK railway collision in reported as having; occurred near Mentoie, .France. Twenty people it is stated have been killed. The rumour lacks positive confirmation. Sir Wm. White represents England at the preliminary conference of Ambassadors to be held here prior to the official meeting.
