This balcony measures G2 x 12 wide, is sure to be a favourite resort with the hoarders, and will no doubt often be utilised foraquietdance of informal concert, for which it is admirably adapted. The verandah at the rear of the hotel is 35ft x Bft, and commands an c»x f ensive view of Wnito.i and surrounding country, and from here the trains can be seen approaching when yet several miles distant. A verandah front and rear will also be a great advantage in enabling those residing in the hotel to always avail of one, what ever the weather may be. A fire escape leads down into the back yard. The advantage of having- several bedrooms on the ground floor will be great in tho case of invalids who cannot bear much moving about,, All windows in the fiont of the louse are fitted with Venetian blinds. The bar and bar parlour are situated at the north end of the building. The kitchen is detached, connecting with the hotel by a long passage. Another detached building can be utilised on extraonlinery occasions, when extra beds are required; in fact the proprietor informs as he can pio\ide us many as iilty bcvis in t.ic event of any great influx of visitors. At present the the billiard room is not being utilised, but will be removed in the course of a few days to the rear of the hotel, and a first-class table placed in it, and the ground it now occupies will be fenced in and planted with ornamental tiees and shrub Mr and Mrs Hay wood bring with them the reputation of beiiUj- most attentive i he wants of their boarders, and under their management the Club Hotel will no doubt be largely patronised by visitors to Te Aroha.
