Melbourne, March 8 —Mrs Hampton and her daughter have been committed for trial for the murder of the youngest daughter of the family on 26th January. Mebourne, March S— A meeting of Melbourne cricket clubs resolved to make arrangements for an English cricketing team to visit the colonies next season. It is expected that the Victorian Parliament will meet on the 16th March. The members will then be simply sworn in, and Parliament will bo adjourned for two months, in order to give the new Ministry ime to prepare their measures. Melbourne, March 9.— Numerous fare well addresses will be presented to Bishop Moorhouse on his departure for England, among them being one which it is proposed to accompany by a public gift of £1,200, lists for which are still open. Bishop Moorhonse will sail on the ISth inst. Melbourne, March 10.— The statement previously telegraphed that Parliament would meet on the 16th March is officially confirmed. Adelaide, March 5. — Three men entered the branch bank of the Commercial Bank of South Australia at Yankarilla (a small townsh»pabcut 45 miles fromhere), about 1 o'clock this morning. The burglars attacked the manager, whom they rendered insensible by blows. After gagging the manager's wife, the robbers abstracted notes to the value of £2,000. No gold was on the premises. The police have taken the matter up, and black trackers are out searching for the robbers. Brisbane, March 9.— The Queensland Government decline to enter into any agreement for a subsidy with the Eastern Extension Company cable, under the conditions proposed by Mr John Pender for a further reduction upon the telegraphic tariff."-}
