DOMAIN BOARD.

The usual monthly meeting of the Te Aroha Thermal Springs Domaiu Board was hell on Saturday evening last. Present — Messrs G. Wilson C. Ahier (sec), G. Lipsey, T. Gavin, and E. Quinn. The Secretary having read the minutes of the previous monthly meeting-, and of th« special meetings held on Feb. l&th, 20th, and 27th, same were confirmed. The proprietor-* of the Aroha. axd Ohinemuhx News wrote requesting that thej might he notified in writing of special or ordinary meetings held by the Board. On the motion of Mr Quinn seconded l>y Mr Lipsey, it was resolved that the (Secretary be requested to give written ! notice, as requested. j It was stated 430 tickets were sold on tho day of ihe excursion (March Ist), realising £10 15s. At the special meeting of the Board held on Feb. 27th the following tenders were received .-—For the erection of No. 6 bath-house, labour only, Robinson and | West, £8 (accepted) ; Mills and Tonge, £14 ; Byrne and Kerr, £15 ; F. Booth, £15. For erection of octagon building 1 over drinking fountain, labour only, F. Booth, £12 (accepted); Robinson and West, £12 ; Mills and Tonge, £16. For erection of about 11 chains picket fence with gate, fronting Wuitaker street : F. Booth, £5 3s 6d per chain, gate £2 ss(accepf.e<)) ; Byrne and Kerr, £G liis per chain picket fence, gate £G 18s ; Robinson and West, £5 per chain for fencing, gate, £7 ; Dillon, £6 9s rev chain for fencing, gate £6 18s ; Mills ana Touge, £6 17s 6d per chain for fencing, gatu £5 10s. Tne following tender** were received for painting, as required : ii. Gapes, 3£d per yard (accepted) ; Cook, 4d ; Linvoln, 4^ 1 ; T. Hood, 4*d. For Trenching : B. Rchall, 3s 6d per chain (accepted) ; M. Robertson, 4s lOd ; P. Dihon, 4s JOd: J. s Stanley, ss; T Ajtlcen, 5s 9d ; A. Meais, 6a 3d per cj^kia.
