The lakes in Regent Park, London, have been crowded with skaters during the recent neeze. On January 10 there was an unusual number of persons enjoying themselves on the ice The throng was co great on one of the ponds as to break the ice, and at leafct 100 men, women and children were given a 'very cold immersion. There was intense excitement, but the water was shallow, ,-and beyond the discomfort of a cold bath nothing serious happened.
