OWHAROA.
Since my last report an attempt was made to start the Owlwoa battery, but It was found that the water supply was not equal to driving t) head Of stampers. Stevenson is stfll pushing on with his low level, which is now in close upon 500 feet, and although nothinsr of inipoitance hks been encountered up to the present the country through which the level is passins: is all that can be desired for the existence of the precious metal.
