AUCKLAND REGATTA. Auckland, Last Night.

A miserable wet day vus experienced for the Regatta ; the most exciting event was the whaleboat race, which was won by Wuitemata, Ilauraki 2. The Takapuna races have been postpostponed. The New Zealand Timber Company have declared a dividend of 10 per cent. The Eight Hours' Demonstration to-day the procession was much more pretentious, but the downpour of rain damped the proceedings.
