The following particulars with respect to the railway station' at Te Aroha and other structures in connection with the completion of the line- will prove 1 of interest to nrany of our readers. The t : me allowed for the completion of the wor'is is ten weeks from date of acceptance of tender. The successful tenderer will' have to deposit £60 and provide security hy boroi for £250. The contractor will be liable to a penalty of £10" per week in the event of failing to> complete the various works within contract time. No building can. be erected until the formation is finished, which should be by February 2nd. Timber supplied by Government will be- delivered at JVlorrinsville station. The works- to be maintained by the contractor for two months after completion. The following structures are to be erected at the stations named : At Murray's (1 mile 6£ chains- from Moruinsville) : Workman'shut and solid platform 60ft long. At Tatua O' Hatta (4 miles 10-' chains from. Morrin-sville) ; Solid platform 60 feet At Waitoa (6 miles 50 chains from 1 Monittsville) : Workman's Itut, coal store, solid platform 60 feet, and 5I chains- fencing. At Waihoti (Smiles 55 chains Irom Morrinsvil-Ie) : Workman's hut and solid platform 60 feet. At Te Aroha (12 miles 55 chains from Morrinsville) : Four-room cottage,, platelayer's do. r Two ,foal sheds, etc., solid platform 100 feet, outside plat'l form for loading 60 feet, engine shed, two engine pits, coal store (to hold 35 tons), water tank, 15 chains fencing i etc., etc., and to be removed from [' Eureka a fourth-class passenger station, ; and a goods shed 40 feet x 30. Th& station. Trill be the one now in us 3 |at Eureka, which is a lean-to builiMngf containing office at one end, ladies* waiting room the opposite end, and' covered lobby ijfc the centre.
