We wish him much success. The main county road between Muckytown and Karangahake is blocked up by fallen timber, and should be at once cleared. We trust that the track from Karangahake to Owharoa will soon be put into a safer condition for equestrians than it is at present. It is realty in a, very dangerous state just now. This sale affords an excellent opportunity for obtaining drapery goods much below oidmary pi ices. The Paeioa School Feast eventuated on Tlmivdny List, and was in all respects a success. Sullivan), and everybody connected therewith. Miss Dora Wick was presented with tho first prize, and holds the proud position of Dux of the fechool. Other prizes weie presented to various scholars at the close of the day's pleasure, and thanks to the leniency of Jupiter Piuvius, an enjoyable day was brought to a close about G. 30 p.m., the children going home rejoicing-, carrying their well-earned pnisea with them. — (Communicated^.
