Alarming Outbreak at Waimauku.

Advices from Helenaville state that a fire of alarming proportions has broken out in Taylors Bush at Waimauku. The fire is raging along b fch sides of the railway, and the railway-sta' ion and Forster's stores were said to be in danger of destruction. The whole of the men in the district are turned outto battle with the devouring element.and it is hoped their efforts will prove successful. At Kaukapakapa, the fire in Messrs Druman's bush has been kept within narrow limits, and though btill smouldering, all danger of its spreading is believed to be over.
