The abnve sports word held in Mi* Nasli's paddock on this day week, and attracted a large number of people. Sonic of the events wore cbsely contested, and the whole affair passed off srccessfully. Patterson and Hyde being equal, agreed to divide the stakes. Running Hop, Step, and Jurrip : Ist prize, 10s ; 2nd, 5s : J. Dinars^ 1 ; J. JBarrett. 2. Handicap (150 yds, tor boys under 14 years of age), Ist prize, 10s ; 2nd, 5s : JR. Bryson, 1 ; F. Mahoneyj 2. Girls Race (handicap) : Ist prize, 10s} 2nd, 5s i Mabel Tizard, 1.
