LOCAL BODIES CONTRACTS ACT.

As the qujSetion dealt with is of great important© odr readers, we give below the dp£f*«ive clauses. They ate as Under ; —••' Any member of the local body who enters into any contract for the supply of anything of the performance of any work with the local body of Which he is a member, or who knowingly supplies anything whatever to jach local body, shall not be entitled to payment for the same, and any earn paid in respect to any.aach contract or supply shall be recovered, together with ten pounds in addition thefVto, with full posts of suit, tfy any person who shall sue for the same hi codrt 6f competent jurisdiction. The amount recovered as having been improperly paid shall be handed over to * the local bo<ly from whose funds it was paid and the person suing shall be entitled to the t,en pounds with the ftlll costs of the sdiift Any member of any .
