September The Otago Hunt Ulub Steeplechase Meeting is taking place to day. The weather is fine, but the course is very soft, owing to the many dayß rain. Hurdle Handioap.—Trapper, 1; Meda, 2 ; Modesty, 3. Totalisator dividend, £5 43. Kensington Handicap. —Bverfcon Lad, 1; Matanaka, 2; Billy, 3. Dividend, £3 ss. The concluding events of the Otago Hunt Club races on Saturday were the Shorts Handicap, won by Billy j the Tally - Ho Handicap Steeplechase won by Anteros's son King Arthur, who beat a field of six;! and the Hunt Club Cup, won by Chance, Foreman being second, and Little John third.
