Battery returns. — In consequence of the monthly retorting having taken place so late in last week, there will be no retort until Monday next. At the battery 20 head of stampers are at work for the New Find and 20 for the Battery Company crushing Colonist dirt. At the tailings plant the Ni«w Find have 22 berdans engaged on new tailings, the remainder being employed for Battery Company on Colonist tailings.
