TnE Winter Steeplechase Meeting of the Victoria Kacing Club was held at Flemington to-day. The two principal events resulted as follows :— Gbanp National Hubdle Race of lOsova each, with 400 added. The second horee to receive dOsovs, and the third 25sovs out of the stake. About three miles. Mr Hart's eh h The Agent, 6yrs, by Slanderer— Lucy, list 61b 1 Mr Lewis's br q Guardfish, 6yrs, lOst 61b 2 Vr Cox's b h Cockboat, syrs, 9st ... 3 Grand National Steeplechase of 15sovs. each, with 500 added. The second horse to receive 50sovs, and the third 25sovs out of the stake. About three miles. Mr M. Loughlins b q Wymlet, 4yrs, by King Tom— Ballet- Girl, lOst 41b ... 1 Mr Russell's eh q Sailor, aged, 9sb 101b 2 Mr Cohen's b q Denmark, aged, 1 2sfc 111b & Twelve horses started for this event, but the three placed, horses were the only ones that finished the race. The official time of the race was smin. 19Jsec.
