ATTEMPTED SUICIDE. Wellington, Friday, A case of suicide occurred last night. A young woman named Alice Barnaby, aged 22, engaged as domestic servant m a restaurant in town, yesterday afternoon purchased at a chemist's a box of "Rough on Rats" and swallowed two doses. Medical aid was summoned, and she was brought round about nine last night. Subsequently, however, she commenced to sink and died at three this morning. No cause assigned.
