THE ST LOUIS MURDER.
In the Police Court to day the charge against Maxwell of murder at St Louis M&s investigated, and accused committed to .gaol to await the Governors extradition warrant. At the Board of Education this afternoon some inquiry was made into an accusation of indecent asaault preferred by a female pupil teacher residing in the Ohinemuri district against a male teacher of a neighbouring schotl. The evidence of the girl, whose parents reside va jAuckland, was taken, and further investigation deferred.
