Tuesday, June 9, 1885.

Wm. Wilson v. Hakapene Hura ; Claim £3 16s for goods supplied. No appearance of defendant. Judgment for amount with costs 10s. Chas. Balcke v. Geo. Gapes : Claim 11s 6d for goods supplied. No appearance of plaintiff. Defendant, on being sworn, stated he was only indebted to plaintiff to the extent of 4s, the balance 7s 6d plaintiff claimed for a wig. TI113 defendant stated he never purchased, but merely borrowed on the occasion of a christy minstrel performance and duly returned. Judgment for 4s and costs 5s, which anvunt had been paid into Court. Defendant claimed 8s expenses for his day and 5s costs, which were allowed him.
