New Find. — Tenders were recentlycalled for putting in a new low level for No. 2 reef in this mine ; seven tendeis were put, in' for the work, but on the manager received instructions not Ut accept any tender, as the work would not be gone on with for the present. Driving is being pushed ahead on No 2 reef north from low level, and about 20ft further driving ought (o reach the payable run of dirt worked above.' The s topes on No. 2 reef above the low level are yielding dirt of average quality. Fair crushing dirt is being obtained from the surface of No. 1 reef. Stoping is also being gone on with on No. 1 reef above Arizona level, and the' dirt obtained from same will be' crushed separately.
