Wellington, Jan. 20. At the first meeting of the Committee o: Aid and Advice of the New Zealand In dustrial Exhibition the Secretary reportec that Government proposed to have an in expensive exhibition, and the first exhibi tion, it is hoped, will show the present con dition of industrial developments in tho colony; also that local committee!! had been or were being formed through out New Zealand, and that as soor as the lists were completed the names of th^ committees would be gazetted. The best; security he said that could be given for the success of the Exhibition was that the people of the colony had evinced great in ■ terest in it. Immediate application foi: space is necessary, as probably precedence to those made at an early date will be given!
