Not Israel alone Shall kneel before His throne ; All nun shall own His ma.jebty, and at His footstool bow ! Who keep the Christmas (rue? Nol they whose narrow view Is bounded bv tho lowly lift) of Jesus on this earth. Who watch for Christ aright. Wilh heart and soul and might? Not tho> whose only ' hribtmas joy is feast and | empty mirth ! They keep the Christinas best, With humble patience blest, Who daily uoi k.and pray, and hope that comiug daw n to see ; They are tho watchers wise, Who scan the murky skies And seek the starry herald of " The Christ that is to bo!" They keep tho sacred Iryst Who strive to be like Christ— Who pave the path o'er which so soon His glorious feet shall tread ; Who level down the lulls Of social wrongs and ills— Who raise those valk" s, deep depressed, where Vice and Want are bred ! dome, Lord, our watching eyea Are lifted to the skies ; Biing Peace, Goodwill, and Happiness down with Thee from above ; Come, while the Heavens shall ring, And Earthly burds shall sing The Christinas dawn of blessedness, the Golden Age of Love.
