SUDDEN DEATH.

(Fvcmi the Auckland " Star," Nov. 26.) Captain Short, of the brigantine Nightingale, which arrived from Dunedin this morning, reports that the mate of the vessel, Francis Henry Fenton, 43 year? of age, and a native of Stock well, was found dead in his bed on Thursday, 13th inst. On the preceding day Fenton complained of being unwell. At midnight, Captain Short spoke to him, and told him it was his watch on deck. Deceased replied that he was not well enough to keep it, upon which the captain recommended him to go to sleep, when he would feel better in the morning. In the morning, however, the man was dead. On Friday, the 14th, the body was buried at sea*
