Sydney, October 24. — The Legislative Assembly, after sitting nineteen hours, has carried through the railway proposals and the Appropriation Bill. The Council of the Royal Colonial Institute have adopted a resolution expressive of regret at the death of SirliobortTorrens. The Marquis of Salisbury was stoned while on a visit to Dumfries. Sydney, October 27. News has been received hero that the China Navigation Company's steamship Changchow, bound from Newcastle to Hong Kong, has beon wrecked on the coast of Queensland. All tho passengers and crow were saved.
