The vote for Official Assignee, Auckland, is L 550, and for clerk LI SO. The Clerk of Court, Onehunga, is increased from L6O to L 175 ; the clerk at Papakura is LISS instead of Ll7O ; the clerks at Otahuhu and Waiuku are abolished ; the clerk at Helensville is increased from LlO to Ll5 ; the clerk at Port Albert is reduced from L2O to LlO ; the clerk at Wade is abolished ; the clerk at Whangaroa is reduced from L5O to LlO ; Resident Magistrate at the Thames is increased from L5OO to L 53 0; a bailiff is created at To Aroha at a salary of L 52 ; the clerk at Mercury Bay gets LlO ; and there is a subsidy of L2OO towards the publication of New Zealand law reports. In the Deeds Registry Office the Examiner of Titles has L2UO, the Deputy Registrar is increased from L 350 to L 370, draftsmen are reduced to L 225, and clerk from L4OO to L2OO. The Education estimate is L 328,000 instead of L 315,00 0; office expense is L] 8,000, against L 23 ,00 0; clerk at Auckland is reduced from L 250 to LlOO ; interpreter is reduced from L 875 to L 425. Tho vote for the Under-Secretary of Mines is L5OO ; for assistance towards purchase of drills L 3,000, and reward for discovery of land L 2,500. Railways are reduced from L 673.590 to L 740,669. The District Traffic Manager at Auckland gets L4OO instead of L 475; Resident Engineer L 450 instead of L 350. There is a vote of L 220 for repairing roads and the expense of collecting tolls, Defence is increased from L 183,427 to L 206,446. The reduction in the field force is L5,00Q. Clerks in the Auckland Land Office are reduced from L§96 to L 565,
