FOOTBALL.
Aroha v. Cambridge.
We regret to say that the above match has fallen through, owing to tlie Oamhridge players have at the last moment sent a wire declining to come. Th i challenge to play was sent by the Secretary of the Cambridge team about three weeks ago at once accepted by Te Aroha. We certainly think that the Cambridge team should have taken the trouble, to make known having changed their mind at an earlier date than two days before the match was to come off. All arrangements ha I been made for giving the visitors a hearty welcome, and Mr Quinlan had all preparations made for a dinner. Its a pily this nntch has failed to come off, seeing that the season for footballing baa so far advnnced.
