Mr Jicimlin'.s Manukau Ilaibour Bill constitute^ the Borough of Onehunga the 1 [arbour Board, and vests in it the following endowments •.— Foreshore, Onehunga ; MO acres abutting Manukau Harbour; loreshore, Whau Bay ; 200 acres, Awiiu ; 58 acres, Karangahape ; 1,000 acres, all abutting on the sea. It provides that tho change shall come into force on Jannaiy Ist, J 885. It also maintains leases, provides that royalty be paid to tho Board, and gives bon owing powers to tho extent of £10,000.

Endowments to Local Bodies. A meeting of members in whose districts there aie unendowed municipalities and local bodies was convened for this morning by Mr Stewait. Thcie weie thiily invited, including Messrs Mitchelson, Hurst, Lake, Locke and other Aucklanders. Owing to the political excitement and Committee meetings, only 10 were piescnt, Mr Locke being the only representative from Auckland dibhict. The object of the meeting was to inlioduco such legislation as would grant endowments to these bodies. Some discussion took place, but no action was taken, the meeting being adjourned till a more convenient season.
