Ordor made prohibiting licensed persons within the licensing district of Te Arolin from supplying her with liquor for twelve months. Civil Cases. Adjourned Cuse! — P. Faes v. Win. Wilkinson, claim tor rent and rates on half of 'an allotment in Whitoker street, £2 19s 4d. Plaintiff deposed : I sold to Mr Wilkinson half of section No. 18, Block 0, Te Aroho, and urn suing for lnlf rent up to July 2, 1884. Have applied to Mr Wilkinson for amount. Cross-examined : I am rated for the ground and shop. Was not rated before. I never asked Mr Wilkinson to pay rates. • Judgment for £2 10s, with costs 375. Ordinary Cases. — Henry Paul v. Daniel Courtney, claim £5 15s Bd, Plaintiff deposed : Know T. Donovan and D. Courtney. Was working for Hunt and White on contract. They were mates with me. Courtney was engaged on the work as partner, and not as wages man. Have been sued by Graham and Co. for debts due by tho partnership. Judgment was given against me, and I have had to pay. I have been paid by Donovan for his share, but not by Courtney who owes me £5 15s Bd. ; Judgment for amount claimed, with costs £2 12s 6d. Piako County Council v. B. C. Fryer, claim £1 19s 3d for rates. Adjourned till next Court day for production of rate books. In the Wafden's Court, Mining Inspector v. Gforgina Lawreuce, claim £5 arrears of rent on business site No. 192. Judgment for amount, with costs 11s.
