SVDNJJY, August IS. An immcnso concourse of pcoplo "witnessed the boat racoon Saturday, no loss than OS steamers being crowded with spectator. Gieat enthusiasm is displayed here over Beach's victory. It is thought ccitain that another match will be arranged. After the race on Saturday, most cordial interviews took place between Beach and llanlan. The latter admitted that lie -was beaten, but said ho was paralysed by the close proximity of the steamer Tomki, w Inch unfortunately bore down too close to his boat.
