Auckland, Last Night. Requisition being signed asking De Lutour to conte- 1 Newton. Reported thnt Lennox intends contesting City East with Sir G. Grey. Fenton is undecided about contestiug Parnell. Fanny Donnington was arrested to-d»u on a charge of infanticide. The newlyborn infant was found in a water-closet. The girl ha* been removed to the hosrital. Mr George Grey addressed a meeting in the Theatre Koyal last night. The address was a vindication of the action of the Opposition la&t session. Ihe meeting was very ci thusiastic, iind a vote of confidence was passed with cheers. Buckland reports : Good wethers in demand, bringing ud t« 27s 6d ; fat cattle, 255.
