NARROW ESCAPE OF TE KOPURU SAWMILLS Te Kopuru, June 27.

A sow jus look place last night at 11. 30., when the shed over the stoke hole at the Te Kopuru big mill was discovered on fire. The roof was partiolly burnt, and a few slates destroyed. The hands quickly turned out and extinguished the flames. No damage was done, but the loss would have been serious if tho firo had not been slopped quickly.
