Police Case.

Thomas hinton, Richard Bronnan, and Charles Peters, of Te Aroha, were charged on the information of Serjeant Emerson with wilfully committing damage to a bath house, thb property of the Te Aroha Hot Springs Domain Board, such damage being valued at five shillings. In his remarks, the Magistrate explained the powers vested in the Domain Board; These powers givo the Board the right to erect at the springs such buildirigs as 1 may be required, and to I make such charges for admission' to the j same as may be considered necessary for [ the proper maintenance of the baths and i grrunds. The Board is also empowered j to lease any portion of the Domain, provided such lease is approved of by the Governor-in-Oouncil.
