A Miser. — Your second letter to hand. We have to repeat our request in last week's issue, viz., avoid personalities. We decline to insert your letter in present form. If j'ou like to write a short letter, stating your grievance, and without referring in the manner you do to various persons (which does not alter the matter in the least, and can do no good), we will insert it | for you with pleasure ; but not in its present form. In reply to our correspondent, " Piako," — We regret your letter being over-looked last week. In reply to yo'nr query whether the Duke of Sutherland is related hy blood to the Koyal Faniily. i should say not. Here are .the facts, however, of which you can jn'dge for yourself. Alexander, the 11th Earl of Sutherland (from whom the Dukes are descended), took for his second wife Jean, third daughter of Qeorge-, 4th Ear] of Huntly, who was the divorced wife of James, Earl of Bothwell, who was husband of Mary, Queen of Scots.
