THE COSTLEY BEQUESTS. Payment of £49,000 to the Local Charities. Auckland, May 26.

We understand that during last week the trustees in the estate of the late Mr Edward Coßtley paid over to the charities mentioned in the will the sum of £7,000 each, making a total of £49,000. As we stated several weeks ago, the share of each body participating under the will is £12,000. The further division of £35,000 will be made very shortly, each charity getting an additional £5,000. We are authorised to state that the monument to the memory of Mr Edward Costley is now on its way from England, and Bhouldarrive ere long.
