BROACHING CARGO. Auckland, April 26.

At three o'clock this afternoon the Water Police Force, Sergeant Clarke, and Constables Macdonald and Macky left for the barque Alastor, anchored at the powder ground for the purpose of executing a warrant issued for the arrest of the seamen charged with broaching cargo on that vessel during her voyage from London to this port. The names of the men charged with this offence are B. Haslett, A. 1 White, W. Wilkinson, R. M. Coy, G. Ockenden, G. Robinson,- G. Jones, H. A. Uppexton. G. H. Lee, and H. Percy. The goods are of a varied character, and the value- of the missing property is set down at £10. The case will be neard at the Police Court on Monday.
