Good Advice to the Girls.

There was quite an amusing, but by no means taovel sight, to be witnessed outside the Methodist Church on Sunday night, shortly before the close of the services. The sidewalks infront of the church and adjacent buildings were lined with young hopefuls, with eyes fixed upon the portals, impatiently waiting for the coming of their dear ones within. A religious paper advises girls not to allow any young man to escort them home from ohurch who is ashamed to be seen with them within. The strict adherence to this advice on the part of the girls throughout the .country could not fail to swell the number of church -goers.— From the "Mid dletown Mercury."
