The battery has been at work all through the week — 25 head on .New Find quartz and 10 head on stuff from the Colonist. The netv berdans in the battery are all in position, and the machinery was working on Friday. The berdans went as smoothly as clockwork, and Mr Adams lias certainly made an excellent job. The water will be laid on during to-day, and it is expected "that the new berdans will be grinding tailings on Monday. The contractors for the building for the tailings plant and the race in connection therewith are pushing on the works \ igorously.
