DEATH OF MR W. B. LANGBRIDGE. Auckland, January 19.
Shortly after 2 o'clock this morning the police received information from Mr Bennett, of the Clarendon Hotel, at the foot of Wakefieli-street, that Mr Wra, Bartleet Langbridge, advertising agent, had been discovered dead in his bedroom by the night waiter. MrLangbridge, itappears, has been in ill-health for some time past, and since Thursday under the medical treatment of Dr. Coomb. He had been restless of late, and last night he sent for a sleeping' draught from Dr. Tennent, Wel-lesley-street. He took one at 10 o'clock, and another at 10.30, and at 1.25 this morning he was found, dead. The particulars have been forwarded to Dr, PJiilson, who has ordered an inquest on the body of deceased.
