WAIORONGOMAI BAND OF HOPE.
The fiivt regular meeting of the above was held in the school-house, Waiorongomui, on Wednesday evening last. There was a very good attendance, the room being crowded. The Rev. Mr Mai ahull occupied the chair. The following programme was gone through :— Mr Herbert Soppet recited " The Smack in School ;" this was followed by a song, "The Propercst Thing to do," by Ur G. Robertson ; Mr Lovell then gave a reading. Next on the list came Mr Brame, who gave a reading " S-jrmon on Malt." Mr Brains also made a few remarks on the Teetotal question, particularly referring to the bringing up of the " little ones " in the way they should go, and nruing the ciders l-> assist them i»\ ex. imp. o ami pri(c*t.l.
