October 17. ; Twenty thousand persona have beert' rendered homeless by the earthquake at Anatolia, Asia Minor, and 1000 lives are reported to have been lost. Latest accounts show that the catastrophe was one of extreme severity. Several villages were completely wrecked by repented shocks. The Figaro states that the French sailors h;tve butoliere^ hundreds of residents of Hue, refusing quarter to all, aud the wounded were bayoneted. October 18. The trial of O'Domelt, for the murder of James Carey, has- been postponed till next month.
